Cary C. Grant is a veteran of the construction, construction safety, environmental engineering, waste and hazard remediation industry. He has over 35 years of certification and experience as a construction safety consultant and project manager for major public hazard projects within the NYC metropolitan area. He has been the supervising agent and or safety consultant and project monitor on large scale projects involving the EPA, Con Edison, Metropolitan Transit Authority, Verizon, The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, John F. Kennedy Airport and LaGuardia Airport, involving the public safety oversight of hundreds of workers on major hazard recovery projects, including, the Gramercy Park Steam Pipe Explosion incident of 1989, and first responder recovery work for the 9-11 terror attacks of New York City’s lower Manhattan and major hazard removal for Mount Sinai Hospital and Long Island Power Authority. Projects of supervision, also, include, the public safety, core sampling, pre construction and hazard remediation for the renovation of Grand Central Terminal, supervision of public safety and of multi site work teams for years long Atlantic Avenue shutdown and underground electrical cable shaft reboring for Barclays Center's construction.
